Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother left us on Monday, March 24th. She died peacefully in her bed. She has gone to be with her daughter, Rita, in Heaven who she missed very much. Teresa was born in Oakland, October 3, 1929. Family was everything to her. Her grandchildren adored her.. her jokes, quick wit, uncensored comments, just everything. We will miss being blessed by her every time we left her house. Through memories, stories, and her religious faith, our dear Teresa will never be forgotten. She is survived by her husband of 65 years Jose D. Vega, 85, her daughters Adele Jaimes (Gil) and Josie Hernandez (Manuel). Her daughter Rita Vera (Felipe) went to Heaven 15 years ago. She is also survived by her grandchildren Gilbert Jaimes (Angelica), Andrew Jaimes (Jane), Joseph Hernandez (Jackie), Juan Hernandez (Chad Norcia), Viviana Carlos (Alex), Marcos Vera, and 16 great grandchildren.
