

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Thybaida Navata Nilo, who peacefully passed away on March 22, 2025, at the age of 76. She was born on May 8, 1948, in Agno, Pangasinan, Philippines. Thybaida lived a life dedicated to her work, her community, and, above all, her family. She found love, joy, and happiness in the company of her cousins, nephews, nieces, and grandchildren. Thybaida was kind hearted and generous, deeply caring for her family. She played a pivotal role in supporting her younger cousins, financially helping them pursue their education and achieve their dreams. Her selflessness and unwavering love will always be remembered.
Thybaida worked for 29 years in the Environmental Services Department at Kaiser Hospital in Santa Clara, California, dedicating her time and energy from 1987 to 2016. Her coworkers, Kaiser family, and the many lives she touched at Kaiser will remember her for her hard work, loyalty, and dedication.
She was a woman of many passions, including gardening, cooking, and watching Filipino tele-serye. Cooking brought her great joy, but it was the sharing of meals with friends and family that brought her the greatest reward. She cherished the simple things in life and found peace in tending to her garden. Her humility, simplicity, and strong convictions left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Thybaida was a beloved member of the Navata family. She is survived by her cousins: Vera Vinoya, Ariel Navata, Dante Navata, Allan Navata, Jonathan Navata, and Luisito Navata. She was preceded in death by her cousins: Anthony Navata, Maria Luz Navata, and Bernie Navata.
Thybaida was a testament to her values of humility, simplicity, and deep love and pride for her family. She will be greatly missed and loved forever. May she rest in eternal peace.
