The world became a little less bright on May 16, 2025, with the passing of Vicente "Jerry" Bobila, Jr., aged 81. Born on November 8, 1943, in Bangued, Abra, Philippines, Vicente’s infectious laughter and unending humor brought joy to everyone around him.
As a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Navy, Vicente served his country with honor and integrity. After his military career, he worked as a Shipping & Receiving Specialist for Lockheed Martin until he retired in 2004. Vicente was also one of the founding members of the Abranian Association of America, now known as the Abranian Brotherhood Regional Association.
Vicente was a loving husband to Cristeta, devoted father to Monique and Josh, caring grandfather to Ryan, and a loyal friend to many. Whether he was telling jokes, hosting family get-togethers, or showing off his dance moves, Vicente made every moment unforgettable.
