Wendy D. Rainey

On Monday 30th of June 2025, Wendy D Rainey passed peacefully away in her sleep at age 73. A resident of Fremont, California for most of her life and a devoted church member, she survived alongside her two children, Terry and Sarah and one stepdaughter Jennifer. She was blessed with multiple Grandchildren; Lorelai, Alexander, Colin, Ashley and Aidan along with five step grandchildren: Kimberly, Aribella, David, Matthew and Jazmin and one great step grandchild, Luca. Although Wendy had many loves in her lifetime, her most important things in her life were her cats, family, friends and God. While Wendy had many loves in her lifetime, the most important things were her cats, family, friends and God.

If you knew Wendy, you knew a day could not go by where you wouldn’t get an update about her cats, gardens or family and all the comings and goings. She was passionate about saving all the feral cats she could in Fremont, along with the raccoons, possums, squirrels, seagulls and whatever else would wander into her yard.

Though she will be greatly missed, Wendy lived a life full of love, travel and had faith that God would look after her. We are so lucky to have been a part of this beautiful woman’s life. May she finally be free of all the pain and confusion and currently be dancing in the heavens without her shoes on.
