

Mr. Zuei-Shan Chow was born on March 18, 1914 in Pudong, Shanghai. The family had seven brothers, and he was the third son. Mr. Chow passed away in the early morning of June 17, 2011. He died peacefully with no illness and no pain. He was 97 years old.
Mr. Chow moved to Taiwan in 1949, and lived in Taipei City. Later, he founded Taiwan Chinese Construction Company, LTD. He had been working in the construction business for decades before he retired. He married the late Mrs. Feng Hsien Cai, and had two sons, Jim and George. After retired, Mr. Chow immigrated to Canada and lived in Toronto. In 1988, he moved to Bay Area to join his son, Jim, and had lived in Fremont for 23 years.
Mr. Chow was a rigorous and thrifty person. He lived a life with disciplines. He quitted school to learn how to be a carpenter, and helped the family in his youth. Later after he started from scratch and became a successful businessman, he loved to help the needed. And he never expected any return from his good deeds. He was praised and appreciated by many.
After he moved to Fremont, he followed his wife to join the Church of Fremont. He had been a pious Christian ever since. Mr. Zuei-Shan Chow died of old age at 97. He was a truly blessed person. We will pray for him and wish his soul will rest peacefully in Heaven.
