Anna May Foster

She was born November 1, 1923 in Fremont, Indiana, the daughter of Earl and Carrie Almeda (Divine) Burch, they preceded her in death.

She married Bennitt Rodgers, and he preceded her in death on May 4, 1972, she later married Leo W. Foster, and he preceded her in death on November 18, 1996.

She worked at Hamm’s Restaurant in Fremont for many years, and also the Welcome Inn and Skeeter’s Restaurant in Orland, and also worked at several other area restaurants over the years.

She attended Fremont High School, and later moved to Nevada Mills and Orland, Indiana.

She loved to cook and bake, and enjoyed gardening. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them and her many grandchildren.

Survivors include, three daughters: Judy Aldrich of Fremont, Indiana, Bonnie & Bill Booth of Orland, Indiana, Sharrie Rodgers of Greenfield, Indiana, one son, Bob & Betty Jo Rodgers of Auburn, Indiana, thirteen Grandchildren, Mark Aldrich of Fremont, IN., Todd & Lisa Aldrich of Fremont, IN., David Booth of Orland, IN., Cindi & Mike Fuhrman of Monroeville, IN., Denver & Marjorie Booth of Orland, IN., Angela Upchurch of Waterloo, IN., Candy & Jeremy Kaiser of Butler, IN., Wade Rodgers of Chicago, IL., Cammie Baldwin of Ellicott City, MD., Jim Baldwin of Washington, DC., Sabrina & Doug Cooper of Carmel, IN., F. Spencer Major of Alhambra, CA., Kelsey & Cameron Wells of Greenfield, IN., fifteen great–grandchildren, Sarah Aldrich, Anna Aldrich, Nichole & James Brown, Raya Booth, Stephen and Katie Hernandez, Jessica Hernandez, William Fuhrman, Lincoln Booth, Natalie Booth, Dennis Upchurch, Maygan Upchurch, Cullen Cooper, Hudson Cooper, Kenadie Major, Mailee Wells.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl & Carrie Almeda (Divine) Burch, her husbands: Bennitt Rodgers and Leo W. Foster,

one son-in-law: Marvin R. Aldrich, one sister: Lucille Ort, one brother and sister-in-law: Kendall Burch and Nancy Burch

Visitation hours will be from 11 am until 1 pm Wednesday May 29, 2013, at the Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana.

The funeral service will be held at 1 pm Wednesday May 29, 2013, at Beams Funeral Home, with Rev. Mark Emelander officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Orland, Indiana.
