Bernice M. Schueler, 95, of Angola, formerly of Fort Wayne and Coldwater, Mich. died September 30, 2011 at Lakeland Nursing Center in Angola.
She was born November 6, 1915 in Fort Wayne to Heinrich & Lucy (Doctor) Koehlinger. Mrs. Schueler married Emil Schueler on May 29, 1941 at Covington, Kentucky, and he preceded her in death on March 25, 1993.
She was a retired employee of Steuben County REMC. She attended Emmanuel Lutheran School in Allen County, was a member of Lake George Lutheran Chapel, in Fremont. She enjoyed playing bingo, gardening, and cooking, baking and canning fruits and vegetables.
Survivors include two daughters: Shirley and Richard German of Orland, Judy and Michael McCrea of Angola, eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded In death by her husband: Emil Schueler, parents, one sister: Velma Behrman, and one brother: Paul Koehlinger.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Beams Funeral Home in Fremont,
Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Beams Funeral Home in Fremont with Rev. Stan Temme officiating. Burial will be in Clear Lake Lutheran Cemetery, Fremont.
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to Lake George Lutheran Chapel, 1540 W - 800 N, Fremont, Indiana 46737.
