Betty Lou Cope

She was born on January 8, 1930 in Pleasant Lake, Indiana to Tom and Carrie (Dawes) Lytle. They preceded her in death.

She married Eugene L. Cope on September 22, 1947, in Angola, Indiana, he preceded her in death on March 3, 2000.

She attended Nevada Mills, Orland, and Jamestown schools. She attended Jamestown Church and Fremont Community Church. She loved all her family, her children, and grandchildren, she enjoyed playing Euchre, and doing cross word puzzles.

Survivors include, her sons, Lewis Cope of Angola, Indiana, and David (Renee) Cope of Angola, Indiana, a daughter-in-law, Donna Cope of Hamilton, Indiana, thirteen grandchildren, thirty seven great-grandchildren, nineteen great-great-grandchildren, sisters, Norma Rathbun of Fremont, Indiana, Waunita Wells of Angola, Indiana, and Beatrice McLean of Columbus, Ohio.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Max Ringler, a son, Benjamin Cope, a sister, Arlene Lytle, and brothers, Russell and Wilber Lytle.

Calling hours will be held from 2-5 pm Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm Monday, March 14, 2016 at Beams Funeral Home, Rev. Jon Bruney officiating.

Burial will follow at Jamestown Cemetery, Fremont, Indiana.
