C. Anne (Losh) Justinger

C. Anne (Losh) Justinger, 70, of Coldwater, MI has found peace on Monday, April 1, 2013 in Rockledge, FL after a long and courageous journey. She was born February 21, 1943 at Defiance Hospital. Beloved wife of James Justinger for 48 years; devoted mother of Connie (John) Higbea and Douglas Justinger (Defiance, OH); and loving grandmother to four grandchildren Cassandra, Craig, Carl James (CJ) Higbea and Suzanne Justinger. She will be sadly missed by sisters Bennette (Dan) Singer (Sherwood, OH) and Von Hall (Great Falls, MT) and brothers Amandus and Albert (Conni) Kunesh (Great Falls, MT); and cherished by numerous friends and family.

She was preceded in death by Benjamin and Clara Losh; Victor and Marie Kunesh; brother Roger and nephew Brian Kunesh.

Anne received her R.N. Degree in Nursing from St. Rita’s School of Nursing and a B.S. Degree in Nursing from Defiance College. She went on to complete her certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner and was employed at the Defiance Clinic for a number of years. Anne was one of the first Nurse Practitioners in Ohio. In 1993, she expanded her training in order to be certified as a Diabetes Educator. Anne was always dedicated to her patients which was reflected in her enjoyment of the profession and the caring impression she left on all those she helped. She was a member of St. Paul's Chapel in Clearlake, IN.

Anne was a long time 4-H advisor, community volunteer, and a member of the Eagles, Moose, VFW, and American Legion. She enjoyed spending time at the lake surrounded by family, playing cards, traveling, and the occasional trip to the casino. She will be a bright light that will live on forever in the hearts of family and friends.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 8 at St Paul's Chapel, Clear Lake, 8780 E – 700 N, Fremont, IN. Visitation will be Sunday, April 7 from 2 p.m. - 7 p.m at Beams Funeral Home 200 W. Toledo Street, Fremont, IN with the rosary at 7 p.m.
