Carolyn Marie Palmer

She was born on June 2, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Theodore and Marie (Hoffmeyer) Brauer.

Carolyn graduated from Lutheran East High School in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. She later graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in teaching.

Carolyn married Vernon M. Palmer on June 12, 1965 in Garfield Heights, Ohio. He preceded her in death on August 22, 2021.

She retired from Double Envelope in Angola, Indiana. After retirement she took great joy in spending more of her time with her grandchildren.

Carolyn was a member of the Nevada Mills Community Church.

Spending time with her family was her favorite activity, she also enjoyed attending the Heritage Club and church. She also loved her dog, Coco and her cat, Peanut.

Survivors include her sons, Ted Palmer of Colon, Michigan, Paul Palmer of LaGrange, Indiana and Kent (Melissa) Palmer of Fremont, Indiana, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a brother, Richard (Angela) of Lexington, Kentucky.

She was also preceded in death by two grandsons, Kyler Richard Palmer and Zach Hull.

Visitation will be held from 11 am until 1 pm Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana.

A Funeral Service will follow at 1 pm Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana. Pastor Rodney Snyder will officiate the service.

Memorial contributions may be given in her memory to the Heritage Club, Angola, Indiana or to Nevada Mills Community Church.
