

He was born March 14, 1945 in Angola, Indiana to the late Paul and Leota (Miller) Wilsey.
Chuck graduated from Angola, Indiana in 1963.
He later proudly served in the United States Air Force, serving overseas during the Vietnam War.
Chuck married Irene Marilyn “Rene” Dowidat on October 25, 1964 in Angola, Indiana. She preceded him in death on August 4, 2020.
He retired from Holsum Bakery in Angola, Indiana as a Bakery Salesman. He later owned the Morning Glory Bed & Breakfast with his wife in Fremont. Chuck also worked part-time in retirement, working at Village Foods and Home Depot.
Chuck was a huge Detroit Tiger’s Fan, an IU Basketball Fan and loved watching sports. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and pets.
Survivors include his daughters, Robin Ward and Amy (Barney) Ross, both of Fremont, Indiana, grandchildren, Brandin Ross of Fremont, Indiana, Josie Ross of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Chloe Ward of Janesville, Wisconsin and a sister, Carol May of Centennial, Colorado and his loving pets, Daisy and Jake.
He also was preceded in death by a sister, Norma Scott.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time.
