I am so very sorry for the loss of your mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Cheryl was great friend and she will be missed and remembered forever. I feel very fortunate to have grown up in the Clear Lake area and to have lifelong friends from that time. So many memories of the whole Day family have came back to me as I learned of Cheryl's passing. Keep each other close and stay strong, as Cheryl would have, cherish your own memories of her and know that she is now with her father.
Peace and love, Kim (Foster) Wagner

We have been in and out of each other's lives for as long as I can remember. You made me laugh like none other. We were reunited after I moved back from Florida and started working at The front desk at Patowatomi Inn. You saw me and said, "am I seeing what I am seeing!" You gave me a big hug and said, " How long are you back for this time, Cheri?" Being the vagabond that I am , it was a legitimate question. Recently I became a shopper for shipt and was blessed to see you everyday around the deli area and we would talk about going off the grid and traveling . I will miss our daily conversations about the girls, traveling, and just every day life, but most of all your smile and contagious laugh. Until we meet again, I will miss you.

I may be far away from you but you are always near in spirit. You always made sure when I visited that my hair was done to perfection. The love of your children always showed thru and the love you showed animals. Looking out for others was your job. Now I am sure they will have the strength to carry on. Rest well Angel.
