Cheryl Denise Robbins, age 60, of Fremont, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 26, 2021, at her home.

She was born on December 15, 1960 in Angola, Indiana to James W. and Burdena R. (Nichols) Day.

Cheryl graduated from Fremont High School in 1979. She attended Beauty School and held a Cosmology License.

She worked as a cook for Bon Appetit at Trine University, The Potawatomi Inn, at the Pokagon State Park, and was currently working in the Deli at Meijer in Angola.

Cheryl was a devoted grandmother and notably fun to be around, with a spontaneous spirit that was always ready for the next adventure.

She had such a big heart, and took great care of my girls, Jess and Rachel, when she babysat them years ago. We will all of us remember her always. She is an angel with the angels now. Deepest sympathy to her family in their grief, sincerely, Cindy (Braddock) Springer.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Cheryl was great friend and she will be missed and remembered forever. I feel very fortunate to have grown up in the Clear Lake area and to have lifelong friends from that time. So many memories of the whole Day family have came back to me as I learned of Cheryl's passing. Keep each other close and stay strong, as Cheryl would have, cherish your own memories of her and know that she is now with her father.
Peace and love, Kim (Foster) Wagner

We have been in and out of each other's lives for as long as I can remember. You made me laugh like none other. We were reunited after I moved back from Florida and started working at The front desk at Patowatomi Inn. You saw me and said, "am I seeing what I am seeing!" You gave me a big hug and said, " How long are you back for this time, Cheri?" Being the vagabond that I am , it was a legitimate question. Recently I became a shopper for shipt and was blessed to see you everyday around the deli area and we would talk about going off the grid and traveling . I will miss our daily conversations about the girls, traveling, and just every day life, but most of all your smile and contagious laugh. Until we meet again, I will miss you.

Such a sweet soul. She always tried to help others, if it was within her means. I love you Cheryl, I cannot believe you're gone. I will continue to uplift the family in prayer, may God give you all comfort.

My husband Charlie and I loved talking to her whenever possible!! As a cashier at Meijer she would always greet me in the mornings and always pick on me.
Charlie would fix things in the deli and she would love to talk to him and pick on him the same!
We are saddened for your loss!!!
