He was born on September 1, 1943 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to the late Melvin and Pat (Robbins) Logan.
Dan graduated from Fort Wayne Southside High School.
He proudly worked his entire career at International Harvester, which later became Navistar in Fort Wayne, Indiana and retired as a Cost Estimator.
He enjoyed wood working, and outdoor projects. He was always finding things to do to keep busy.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Logan of Snow Lake, Fremont, Indiana, a daughter, Michelle (Jason) Esterline of Fort Wayne, Indiana, grandchildren, Logan (Caitlyn) Esterline of Decatur, Indiana and Lauren (Harrison) Mattocks of Churubusco, Indiana.
Private family services will be held.
