Dennis Warren Roberts

With deep sorrow we announce the passing of, Dennis Warren Roberts, who left us peacefully on February 14, 2025 at the age of 82. Dennis was lovingly reunited with his beloved spouse of 43 years, Connie.

Born on April 16, 1942 in Seattle, Washington to John and Jewell (Phillips) Roberts. Dennis made his home in Indiana after raising his children in Michigan.

Dennis was known for his sense of humor and his knack for picking on everyone in the family. Whether it was teasing his children, grandchildren, or anyone who crossed his path, his jokes and playful jabs became a signature part of his personality. His quick wit and sharp tongue kept everyone on their toes, but it was always done with love and a twinkle in his eye.

Dennis had a long career at Dexter Axle in Fremont, Indiana but no job ever compared to his true passion of woodworking making beautiful keepsakes for his family to treasure.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents John & Jewell, spouse Connie, daughter Susanna, brothers, Noah, Jay, Charlie, Albert and Jimmy Roberts, sisters Patsy Williams and Darlene Moya, and great granddaughter Makenah.

He is survived by daughters Cheryl (Jim) Brown of Homer, MI, Michelle (Bob) Hull of Fremont, IN, sons Derrick Carter of Angola, IN, and Joe (Kristi) Frazier of Pleasant Lake, IN, sixteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.

His family and friends will miss his teasing, but even more so the love that always came with it.

A private graveside funeral service will be held.

We invite all who knew and loved Dennis to join us in a public Celebration of Life to be held on February 22, 2025 at the Angola VFW from 1pm-5pm. This will be a time to remember, share stories, and celebrate the joy he brought to our lives.
