Eleanor Evelyn Rossi

She was born on June 12, 1938 in Taylor Township, Romulus, Michigan to Joseph Charles and Irene Martha (Frank) Knofski.

Eleanor formerly worked as a secretary for the US Air Force at Willow Run Airport. She also worked for Federal Department Store, and retired as a District Representative for Avon.

One of her favorite passions was being a collector of many kinds of dolls.

Survivors include her sons, Rick (Patricia) Rossi of Fremont, Indiana, and Jerome Rossi of Dearborn Heights, Michigan, grandchildren, Alan Rossi, Marie (Thomas) Nosbish, Matthew Rossi, and Melissa Rossi, and a brother, Arnold Knofski of Flat Rock, Michigan.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Lewis Rossi, on April 25, 2017.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2023 from 1 – 8 pm at the Taylor Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, 23750 Goddard Road, Taylor, Michigan, (313) 291-1800.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 pm Friday, April 7, 2023 at St. Paul United Church of Christ, 24158 Goddard Road, Taylor, Michigan.

Private burial will be at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery, Flat Rock, Michigan.
