Eugene Robert Kehn

Gene was born March 6, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Harvey and Lottie (Kramer) Kehn.

He attended Cass Tech High School in Detroit, Michigan.

Following High School he proudly served in the United States Army.

He later worked for Continuous Forms in Redford, Michigan and retired after 40 years in 2000.

Gene was a longtime resident of Hickory Island, and enjoyed boating with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Kehn of Snow Lake, Fremont, Indiana, children, Steven (Pam) Kehn of Appleton, Wisconsin, Jamie (Linda) Kehn of New Palestine, Indiana, Michael (Kim) Bailey of Angola, Indiana and Erik (Loretta) Bailey of Fort Wayne, Indiana, grandchildren, Mitchell Kehn, Nolan Kehn, Malina Kehn, Maren Kehn, Adam Bailey, Justin Bailey, Alyssa (Alan) Shively, Jennifer Bailey, Kayla Bailey and Logan Bailey, great-grandchildren, Jeremiah Alls, Justin Bailey, Jr., Sophia Bailey, Nora Shively and Ellie Shively.

He was also preceded in death by former wife, Alina Kehn, and brothers, Duane Kehn and John Kehn.

Visitation will be held from 11 am until 1 pm Friday, May 8, 2026 at The Living Room Life Center Church, 655 West State Road 120, Suite B9, Fremont, Indiana.

A Funeral Service will follow at 1 pm Friday, May 8, 2026 at The Living Room Life Center Church, Fremont, Indiana. Pastor Dan Foster will officiate the service

Military Honors will be conducted by the Fremont American Legion Cassel Post # 257 and the US Army Honor Team.
