

She was born on January 16, 1952 in Coldwater, Michigan to the late Floyd Henry and Barbara Jean (Southcott) Hufnagle.
She graduated from Fremont High School in 1970.
Evelyn married James Gleason on May 22, 1971 at the Fremont United Methodist Church, he survives.
She retired after many years at Keystone Reese in Fremont, Indiana.
Evelyn enjoyed collecting tea and tea cups, cookie cutters, boyds bears, cook books, and antique dishes. Her hobbies also included herbs and an herb garden, crocheting, needle point, knitting, and was an avid reader of romance novels. She was a longtime member of the Herb Club of Angola, and the Fremont American Legion Cassell Post # 257 Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, James Gleason of Fremont, Indiana, daughter, Danielle Gleason of Fremont, Indiana, daughter, Beth Gleason and her husband Hjarand Marthinsen of Sandefjord, Norway, grandchildren, Camilla Marthinsen, Emma Marthinsen, and Ethan Roach, sisters, Bernice (Hufnagle) Herndon of Farmland, Indiana, and Jane (Hufnagle) Bauhof of Fremont, Indiana, uncle, Clarence B. Southcott, nephews, Mike Bauhof and Jeff “Bo” Bauhof both of Fremont, Indiana, and nieces, Jackie Kirkpatrick and Loretta Perry both of Farmland, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Barbara Hufnagle, and a niece, Kristi Herndon.
Services will be held at a later time.
Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery, Fremont, Indiana at a later time.
