Fracine Helen Hertel

She was born on July 8, 1932 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late James and Ethel (Baughman) Katsicly.

Fracine retired as supervisor of housekeeping at Cameron Memorial Community Hospital, Angola, Indiana. She was a founding member of the Fremont Community Church, and formerly was a member of the Angola Assembly of God Church.

She enjoyed bird watching, being outside, and when she was younger she was an avid reader and liked going for rides around the lake and traveling.

Survivors include her sons, Michael Holman of Angola, Indiana, Steven Holman of Huntington, Indiana, John Holman of Florida, Richard (Tammy) Hertel of Angola, Indiana and Shane Hertel of Angola, Indiana, grandchildren Aaron, Michael (Abbi), Steve, Jr., Tony, Yazmine, Christian, Dylan, and Hanna, and several great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by husbands, Harold Holman, Jerry Hennessey and Barry Hertel.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1 pm Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana. Pastor Josh Hawkins will officiate the service.

Visitation will be held prior to the Memorial Service from 12 pm until 1pm Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Beams Funeral Home.

Burial will follow the services at Jamestown Cemetery, Fremont, Indiana.

Memorial donations in her memory may be directed in care of the family.
