George Allen Cummings

He was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on July 2, 1956, the son of William A., Sr., and Connie Mae (Finelle) Cummings.

He graduated from Fremont High School. After graduation he earned a mechanics degree from Ivy Tech in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He had worked as a mechanic for Republic Services in Fort Wayne, Indiana for 30 years.

Survivors include his sisters, Nellie Rowe of Hamilton, Indiana, and Louella Parrish of Angola, Indiana, and three brothers, William A. Cummings, Jr. of Angola, Indiana, Jesse (Lori) Cummings of Angola, Indiana, and John (Amanda) Cummings of Pleasant Lake, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his father in 2006, his mother in 2008, and a sister, Connie Nelson in 2009.

Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana, with Rev. Jon Bruney officiating.

Burial will follow at Fremont Cemetery, Fremont, Indiana.

Memorials are requested to the Allen County Humane Shelter.
