Hanna R. Eakin, 57, winged her way to heaven to meet her Savior Jesus Christ on Dec. 3, 2018.

Dear Tim and family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss of Hannah.
I have fond memories of going through the R.C.I.A. process with Hannah, her Confirmation into the Catholic faith, and my baptism into the faith at the Easter Vigil 1997.
I spoke to Hannah a few times over the years and we would always come back to our shared memory of our time preparing to becomes members of the Body of Christ, and how those preparing for baptism were there for those who received full Communion on Holy Thursday and then how they were there for us. It is one of my most cherished memories.
Be assured of my prayers for each of you and for Hannah as she is welcomed by our Lord,
Janice (Nunn) Martin

My deepest sympathy to the family on your loss. Hanna is still keeping watch as she smiles down from heaven.
Have peace of mind knowing how many people Hanna helped and made more comfortable during her visits with Parkview Home Hospice doing massage therapy. My brother, Donald Evans, looked forward to her visits, her smile, caring attitude and the conversations. There were times when I was having a rough day, she took the time to talk with me.

Just to say prayers are with the Families now. Loss is hard, and keep strong with faith .
I recall Mom, Rita Roberts, speaking highly of the Eakin boys and the updates of thier lives through Mary, a dear friend. She was always happy to share the news of weddings and children. I miss Your mother and mine , but know they are making lots of time to enjoy the many children of God in Heaven , both young and old. Hannah will be with them and in great company .

I met Hannah when I moved to Fort Wayne in 1990. I was waiting to have hips replaced and Hannah, and her magic hands, kept me walking. She even came to the hospital and gave me a massage after the first hip was replaced and again after the second one also. She became a good friend. My husband performed her marriage to Tim, and we celebrated the births of their children. We lost touch after I moved back to the East Coast, but a friend sent me the notice of her death.

Sending Tim and her children loving thoughts and healing prayers. She was one in 1 million!

I met Hanna when she started working at Parkview Home Health. Hanna was the massage “angel” there. After we met – we shared an instant joy for one another. Hanna ALWAYS had a positive uplifting word to say to her coworkers, friends, and her patients. Hanna’s “light” and spirit will live on. She will continue to have an impact on every life she touched.
❤️Jesus has you wrapped in the comfort of his arms, Hanna!❤️
