James Charles Kilmer

He was born on April 20, 1947 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Charles and Helen (Schwinn) Kilmer.

Jim graduated from Perrysburg High School, Perrysburg, Ohio in 1965.

He proudly served in the United States Army National Guard, serving from 1967 until 1973.

Jim retired from BP Oil Company in Oregon, Ohio after over 30 years of service. After retirement Jim enjoyed working part-time at Menards in Angola, Indiana.

He enjoyed boating, fishing, playing golf and bowling. He was a Cleveland Browns and Ohio State University Buckeye fan.

He married Barbara Hubbell on August 1, 1987 at Little Long Lake, Fremont, Indiana.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Kilmer of Fremont, Indiana, children, Kristen (Joe) Sabo of Kansas and Alex Kilmer of San Diego, California, step-daughter, Kimberly Maki of Oregon, Ohio, many grandchildren, a brother, Richard (Leta) Kilmer of Blissfield, Michigan and a sister, Mary (Larry) Amez of Florida.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time.
