James A. Vail

He was born on July 14, 1954 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Jack and Mary (Concezzi) Vail.

Jim graduated Southside High School in 1973.

He retired from Steel Dynamics in Butler, Indiana.

Jim enjoyed the lake life. Sailing, pontoon rides, golf cart rides with the grandchildren, making homemade Italian sausage, and Mom's homemade dressing. He loved traveling to Fort Myers beach in the winter with his family and friends.

Jim married Patty Young on July 14, 1979 in Angola, Indiana.

Survivors include his wife Patty Vail of Lake George, Fremont, Indiana, children, Brian Vail of Lake George, Fremont, Indiana, Joseph (Kay) Vail of Angola, Indiana, grandchildren, Hadley and Hudson Vail, and a sister, Marcia (Ron) Vail Wedler of Woodburn, Indiana.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Vail.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time.
