He was born on April 11, 1938 in Miller, Indiana to the late John Russell and Wilma (Wisler) Furlow.
Jack graduated from Rome City High School. He was a design engineer for International Harvester in Fort Wayne, Indiana for 38 years. Jack retired with his wife Donna Waikel to Barton Lake, Fremont, Indiana, they also enjoyed wintering in Florida since 1996.
He was a member of the Fremont Moose Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Waikel, a daughter, Jan Furlow Richards (Joel) of Hickory Hills, Illinois, daughter-in-law, Trish Furlow of Indiana, grandchildren, Tad, Travis, Kasi, Trevor, and Kendel, and great-grandchildren, Khloe, Charles, and Natalie.
He was also preceded in death by his sons, Terry Furlow and Gary Furlow.

A Celebration of his life will be announced later this summer.
