Johnny Lee Knight

He was born on March 24, 1949 in Angola, Indiana, to Ira Albert and Elsie (Spade) Knight, they preceded him in death.

Johnny graduated from Prairie Heights High School in 1967, and from Tri-State College in 1971.

He married Sarah (Rowlison) on October 14, 1972 in LaGrange, Indiana.

He worked in the RV Industry for 10 years, then worked at B&F Grain (now Orland Community Elevator) for 35 years.

He served on the Orland Fire Department Board, and the Greenlawn Cemetery Board.

Johnny was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and a friend to all. He was an avid Tiger’s fan, a cowboy movie enthusiast, and a WW II airplane enthusiast. He loved being “PawPaw” to Oliver, Amelia, and Sawyer Osborn.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah J. Knight of Orland, Indiana, his daughter Becky Knight of Angola, Indiana, a sister, Jean Ann Childers of Angola, Indiana, three nephews, Greg Eash, Marc Eash, and Chris Eash, and a niece, Elizabeth Harrold.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm Monday, September 4, 2017 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana, with Pastor Donna Holcomb officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Orland, Indiana
