She was born on October 2, 1968 in Edon, Ohio to the late Ned and Alice (Flowers) Deck.
Josie graduated from Edon High School in 1988.
She formerly worked for ATM in Fremont, Indiana.
Josie married Jason Holsinger on December 7, 1994 in Angola, Indiana.
Josie enjoyed doing crafts, listening to christian music, attending church, and turtles. She loved spending time with her family and her dog, Patrick.
Through her difficult health problems, she had a wonderful attitude and never complained. She was always there for anyone, she was very thoughtful and was a wonderful friend, wife, sister and aunt.
Survivors include her husband, Jason Holsinger of Fremont, Indiana, sisters, Debra (Raymond) Jones of Garrett, Indiana and Roxana (James) Clouse of Orland, Indiana, brothers, Arthur (Marsha) Deck of Wolcottville, Indiana and Robert (Opal) Deck of Montpelier, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 12 noon until 2 pm Thursday, September 3, 2026 at The Living Room Life Center Church, 655 West State Road 120, Suite B9, Fremont, Indiana.
A Funeral Service will follow at 2 pm Thursday, September 3, 2026 at The Living Room Life Center Church, Fremont, Indiana. Pastor Dan Foster will officiate the service.
