Judith K. Jordan

She was the retired founder and co-owner of G & S Superabrasives in Angola, Ind.

Judy moved to Angola, Indiana, in 1979, and has lived outside Fremont since 1994.

She enjoyed playing bingo, doing needlework, making trips to Canada and watching golf.

She was born April 27, 1942, in Columbus, Ohio, to Sherman and Jannie (Recobb) Smith. They preceded her in death. She married Paul H. Jordan on December 20, 1968. He preceded her in death August 29, 2009.

Surviving are her children, Chrystal and Joe Mayer of New Albany, Ohio, Michelle and David Smith of Lena, Ohio, Michael and Lisa Jordan of Angola, Ind., Sherman and Sandra Moody of Osseo, Mich., and Harold Moody of Wausau, Wisconsin; 10 grandchildren, Joseph, Kathryn, John Mayer, Tim Caccia, Christina Smith, Anna, Abigail Jordan, Allison, Christopher Moody and Jessica Dickson; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dave Smith of Urbana, Ohio, and Charles and Delores Smith of Urbana Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a granddaughter, Kendra; a grandson, Jeremy; and two brothers, Mike and Bernard Smith.

Private family graveside services will be held at Lakeside Cemetery in Fremont with the Rev. Jon Bruney officiating.
