Kevin Karl Richter

Kevin Karl Richter was born on May 29th, 1961 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He passed away at his home on the morning of March 25th. Although he was born in Fort Wayne, he spent most of his life in Fremont. He spent his final years in Columbia, OH. Kevin worked most of his life in construction, but he spent his most joy filled years working for and with his brothers at Richter Machine & Tool. Kevin was a son, a brother, a father, and even a grandfather. He was many different things to many different people in his life, but he was always a friend. Kevin was always the first to roll-up his sleeves and help a friend in need. Kevin was also a graduate of Ball State University and an ordained minister. He is survived by his fiancé, Brenda Richter. His children: Renee Baloch, Rachel Richter, James Richter, Breanna Richter, and a step-son, James Williams. His grandchildren: Shazia Baloch, Aysha Baloch, Olivia Baloch, Mariah Cruz, Alexa Brodie, Donte Brodie, Jevon Brodie, Joseph Richter, Elaina Richter, and Isaiah Dagget. His brothers: Mike Richter, Mark Richter, Rick Richter, Matt Richter, Brad Richter, and Doug Richter. He is preceded in death by his parents Paul Richter and Clara (Humbert) Richter. He is also preceded by one son Joseph Richter. Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana. Funeral Services will be at 11 am Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Beams Funeral Home, with Rev. Donald Meyers officiating. Mr. Richter will be laid to rest at Powers Cemetery, Angola, Indiana.
