

He was born to Olin and Jackie Firestone on January 14, 1969. Kyle attended and graduated from Fremont High School in 1988. Kyle started his career working for Fulton's gas station in Fremont; he also worked for the Steuben County Highway Department, Laclede Steele and was currently working at Metaldyne, where he had worked for the past 8 years. He truly enjoyed his work at Metaldyne and all of his friends there.
Kyle loved NASCAR and was an avid Matt Kenseth fan. He also enjoyed watching football, especially when the New England Patriots played. He loved to watch movies with his two daughters and enjoyed taking his dog Layla for a ride in his truck listening to county music. He was a member of the Sons of the Legion and the Fremont Moose. Kyle will most notably be remembered for his contagious laugh. His laugh was one of a kind and you could not help but laugh with him.
Kyle is survived by his two daughters, Kylee Firestone of Fort Wayne and Camryn Firestone of Avon. His mother, Jackie Firestone of Fremont, one sister, Kathy Parsons of Fremont, one brother, Kurt Firestone,of Fremont, one sister-in-law, Pat Lyons of Fremont and his former wife Connie Firestone of Avon.
Nieces and nephews include, Heather and Travis German, Tabitha and Adam Meeks, and Erica Book-Phelps and Tom Phelps, Brandie Miller, Tracy Wise and Tim and Sarah Word, Ryan Langley and Geni Brandt, and Kody Firestone, Fremont. He had 20 great nieces and nephews, Allison, Austin, Grace, Sarah, Kaylee, Jaxson, Andrew, Lane, Karson,Kalvin, Carter, Taylor, Eva, Olivia, Orson, Alexis, Corbin, Kadence, Lilly and Maddie.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Kelvin Olin, in 1969, his father, Olin D. "Oly" Firestone, in 2010, his brother Tim Lyons in 2013, and his grandparents, Floyd and Ester Firestone, his step grandmother, Helen Firestone and his maternal grandmother, Nettie Earline Fraley.
calling will be at Beams Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday September 7, 2014 and the funeral will be on Monday, September 8, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Beams Funeral Home, with Rev. Jon Bruney officaiting. A dinner to follow at the Fremont American Legion. Graveside services will be at Lakeside Cemetery.
Memorials are to the Fremont American Legion, Cassel Post #257 and Riley's Children Hospital.
