Laura Lee Strong

She was born on May 14, 1937 in Auburn, Indiana to the late Walter and Pauline (Beckwith) Krontz.

Laura attended Butler High School.

She married Hershell “Ray” Strong on July 10, 1958 in Marshall, Michigan. He preceded her in death on June 7, 2017.

Laura formerly helped on the family farm and worked at K-Mart in Angola. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, quilting, scrap-booking, and collecting porcelain dolls. Laura was proud of her family and enjoyed spending time with her children, and her many grandchildren.

Survivors include children, Richard (Dawn) Baad of Mattawan, Michigan, Steven (Angel) Strong of Angola, Indiana, Douglas (Dawn) Strong of Rapid City, Michigan, Eric Strong, Fremont, Indiana, Pamela (Lee) Moeller of San Antonio, Texas and Sarah Strong of Ashley, Indiana, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mary Troeger.

She was also preceded in death by two sons, Michael Ray Strong and Daniel Carl Strong, and nine siblings.

Graveside Services will be held at 11 am Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at Knauss Cemetery, Kinderhook Township, Michigan.

Memorial donations in her memory may be directed in care of the family.
