

He was born Oct. 4, 1938, in Bronson, Michigan to Dale Goshorn and Edith Goshorn Conklin. They both preceded him in death. He married Susan Riede on April 4, 1980, in Angola, Indiana, and she preceded him in death on Aug. 8, 2014.
He retired from Campbell Soup Mushroom Farm after 25 years of service, and also worked for Pilot in Fremont, Indiana.
He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Chapel at Clear Lake.
He enjoyed bowling, gardening, and loved his family and grandchildren very much.
Survivors include four daughters, Connie Fockler of Fremont, Indiana, Valerie (Danny) Rodgers of Munster, Indiana, Christina Colclasure of Fremont, Indiana, and Michelle (Mike) Friend of Fremont, Indiana; a son, Brent Goshorn of Coldwater, Michigan; 10 grandchildren, Joe Gannon, Carley Fockler, Justin Gannon, Deven Rodgers, Carissa Fockler, Abigail Hostetler, Alexandra Friend, Jayce Colclasure, Mackenzie Friend, and Kameron Colclasure; two great-grandchildren, Allie Mae Sue Barnthouse and Sophia Cleola Denise Gannon; four sisters, Nancy Filmore, Donna (Norbert) Drust, Rose (Larry) LaMontagne and Gayle (Paul) Creal, all of Bronson, Michigan; and a brother, James (Chris) Goshorn.
He was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Willis Filmore.
Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015, at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana, with the Rev. Donald Meyers officiating. Calling hours will be held from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service.
Memorials are requested to St. Paul Catholic Chapel.
