

He was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan on January 1, 1943, the son of Lester Wadel and Betty Ruth (Farquhar) Henessey.
He married Gaynell L. (Robinson) in Toledo, Ohio, and they have been married for 29 years.
He retired after 30 years at United Parcel Service (UPS).
He enjoyed playing golf, woodworking, and his family.
He was a member of the Stokes Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Gaynell Wadel of Coldwater, Michigan, a son, Warren (Gail) Wadel of St. Joseph, Michigan, a daughter, Monica Wadel of Kirksville, Missouri, a grand-daughter, Andrea (Brian) Binns of St. Joseph, Michigan, three grandsons, Chris Weller and Corey Wadel of Kirksville, Missouri, and Matt Wadel of Seattle, Washington, and a great-grandson, Luke Binns of St. Joseph, Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and four children, Jeff, Charles, Scott, and Chip.
Calling hours will be held from 5-8 pm Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana.
Services will be held at 11 am Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana, with Pastor Phred Cain officiating.
Burial will follow services at Wilson Cemetery, Coldwater, Michigan.
Memorials are requested to the Stokes Chapel United Methodist Church or to CHC Hospice.
