

She was born in Hot Springs, Ark. to Everett William and Betty Louise (Green) Bryant. She married Roy “Dan” Adkins Jr. July 24, 1970. They had four children.
Linda joined the U.S. Air Force after high school with her twin sister Brenda. She met Dan while stationed at Barksdale AFB, Louisiana. Dan served in the Air Force in Vietnam and then was stationed in Langley, Va. The family lived in Hampton, Va. and moved through various states, from Ohio to New York to Wisconsin to Indiana, following Dan’s job as an aluminum foundry supervisor.
In 1994, the family moved to West Otter Lake in Steuben County from Wisconsin. Linda babysat in her home and worked at Scott’s in Angola for seven years and Walmart for 15 years.
A homemaker and the quintessential cat lady, Linda enjoyed sewing, antiquing and collecting cat figurines. She collected recipes and enjoyed coloring in her convalescence. She colored hundreds of pages.
She is survived by her husband and her children, Roy Daniel Adkins III (Kendra), Orland; William “Bill” Everett Adkins and Kristine Marie Adkins, both of Angola; and Jamie Lynn Hirshey (John) of Osseo, Michigan; four grandchildren, Alyssa Adkins, Dillon Mason, Lucas Elder and Ashton Elder; sister Brenda Converse, Live Oak, Calif.; brothers Larry Bryant (Suni), Washington, Terry Bryant, California, and Jeff Bryant (Leanne), California.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Peggy.
Following her wishes there will be no services.
