Lyle Arthur Bickle

Mr. Bickle retired from Skyline in Bristol.

He graduated from Sturgis (Mich.) High School. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Mr. Bickle was a lifetime member of the Orland American Legion Post No. 423.

Lyle enjoyed woodworking, working in his workshop, gardening, fishing, and coin collecting.

He was born in Centreville, Mich., on Oct. 2, 1935, the son of Gene F. and Alice (Strohpaul) Bickle. They preceded him in death. He married Carol Seehawer on Aug. 31, 1957, in Orland. She preceded him in death on July 17, 1992

Surviving are two sons, Gary (Misty) Bickle of Hilham, Tenn., and Stephen Bickle of Orland; three grandchildren, Travis, Kacie, and TJ, and a sister, Pat LeRoy of Kalamazoo, Mich.

He was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Stephanie Christine Bickle.

Graveside services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery in Orland, with Chaplain Mike Collins officiating. Military honors will be conducted by members of the Orland American Legion Post No. 423.
