Marilyn June Blossom

She was born on June 30, 1933 in Butler, Indiana to Howard M. and Golda A. (Funk) Blaker.

She graduated from Butler High School in 1951 attended Glen Oaks Community College, Centreville, Michigan. She was member of North Scott Christian Church. She worked for several years at the Potawatomi Inn at Pokagon State Park, Fremont, Indiana.

Survivors include her three children, Cynthia (Jerry) Walter of Auburn, Indiana, Steven D. Chapman of Venice, Florida, and Mark W. (Cathy) Chapman of Fremont, Indiana, and a step-son, David (Rhonda) Blossom of Apopka, Florida, grandchildren, Traci Dick, Andrew Walter, Jerry Walter, and Blaker Chapman, step-grandchildren, Kadie Blossom and Tyler Blossom, great-grandchildren, Drew and Zoe Dick, and great-great-grandchildren, Marcus and Jazlynn Dick, a sister Phyllis Richmond of Pleasant Lake, Indiana, and a brother, Jack Blaker of Butler, Indiana

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert S. Blossom, and a brother, Wendell Blaker.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4 pm Thursday, July 16, 2015 at North Scott Christian Church, 550 East, Angola, Indiana with Rev. David Wilson officiating.

Burial will be at a later time at Jamestown Cemetery, Fremont, Indiana.

Memorials are to the North Scott Christian Church or to Brockville Commons.
