He was born on September 2, 1938 in Parnassas, Pennsylvania to the Michael and Harriett (Pinchella) Pociech.
Mike proudly served in the United States Army from 1961 until 1964.
He was a retired truck driver and yard work for Consolidated Freightways in Fremont, Indiana.
Mike married Connie Dixon on September 26, 1986 in Angola, Indiana.
He was a member of the Fremont American Legion Cassel Post # 257, and the Angola Moose Lodge.
Mike loved to go fishing, camping, his truck, and being outdoors.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Pociech, Fremont, Indiana, step-son, Jason D. Fisher (Anna Brown) of Akron, Ohio, adopted son, Sam Beaber of Angola, Indiana, his wonderful dogs, Suzie Q and Boo Boo, and best friend, Charlie Root of Angola, Indiana.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Peace Lutheran Church, 355 East State Road 120, Fremont, Indiana. Visitation will be held prior to the memorial service from 10 am until 11 am at the church. Pastor Jeffrey Teeple will officiate the service.
Military honors will be provided by the Fremont American Legion Cassel Post # 257 color guard and the US Army honor team.
Burial will be at Knauss Cemetery, Kinderhook Township, Michigan at a later date.
Memorial donations may be directed to Peace Lutheran Church or the Fremont American Legion Riders.
