Milton H. Wright

He was born July 17, 1927 to Jerry and Leora (Myers) Wright in White Pigeon, Michigan. He later attended school in Hudson, Michigan.

Milton married Doris (Taylor) on August 15, 1948 in Munson, Michigan. They lived in Hudson, Michigan for many years, where all their children were born. They later moved to Fremont, Indiana in 1985.

He formerly worked for Kroger Egg Exchange, Hudson, Michigan, and Senac News Agency, and Champion Homes, both of Adrian. Before retiring, Milton worked as a custodian for the Fremont Community Schools. He was a member of Fairview Missionary Church, Angola, Indiana, and was a charter member of the Hudson Wesleyan Church, Hudson, Michigan, where he and Doris were members for 33 years. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, collecting farm toys, toy cars, and he loved joking and having fun.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Wright of Fremont, Indiana, four daughters, and one son, Tina (Don) Tenney of Naples, Florida, Kathleen (Keith) Baker of Hillsdale, Michigan, Sally (Jeff) Sherman, Angola, Indiana, Joni (Don) Hunt of Angola, Indiana, and James (Charity) Wright of Wesley Chapel, Florida, seventeen grandchildren, twenty five great-grandchildren.

Milton was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Lawrence Wright and his wife Delores, his sister, May Myers and her husband Marvin, two daughters, Dianna and Bonnie, a son Ronnie, Son-in-law, Bill Godette, a grandson, Daniel Godette, and a grand-daughter, Patricia Baker.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 am Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Fairview Missionary Church, 525 East County Road 200 North, Angola, Indiana, with Pastor Wesley Rowan and Pastor Glenn Flint officiating.

Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Hudson, Michigan.
