Paul Allan Russell Sr.

He was born on October 13, 1936 in Sylvania, Ohio to Daniel R. and Ruth Eunice (Albright) Russell, they preceded her in death.

Paul graduated from Scott High School in Toledo, Ohio.

He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War.

After serving his Country Paul married Donna Jean Colledge on November 5, 1955 in Toledo, Ohio.

Paul was a painting and drywall contractor in Toledo, Ohio for most of his life.

After retirement Paul and Donna moved to Round Lake. He enjoyed farming, gardening, being outdoors, and classical music.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Russell of Fremont, Indiana, children, Randy Russell of Coldwater, Michigan, Donald (Gayle) Russell of Swanton, Ohio, and John (Wendy) Russell of Angola, Indiana, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, a sister, Nancy (Mike) Duda of Sanford, Florida, and a brother, Thomas (Sandy) of Temperance, Michigan.

He was also preceded in by sons, Paul Russell, Jr., and Gregory Russell, and a brother, James (Mick) Russell

Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana. Pastor James Hazekamp will officiate the service.

Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12 pm until 1 pm Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana.

Burial will follow services at Ray-Covenanter Cemetery, Fremont, Indiana, with military honors provided by the Fremont American Legion Cassel Post # 257 Color Guard and the United States Marine Corps.

Memorial donations in his memory may be directed to the Community Humane Shelter of Steuben County or the Fremont American Legion Cassel Post # 257.
