Phyllis Ann (Williams) Waters

Phyllis Ann (Williams) Waters, age 89, of Angola, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born August 8, 1934 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Harold and Beatrice (Smith) Williams. Phyllis grew up in Toledo, and moved to Bronson, Michigan in 1974, and later moved to Angola. Phyllis worked for Campbell's Fresh in Howe, Indiana for 20 years. After retirement she worked for Ponderosa Steak House in Angola, Indiana part-time. She liked to read, and do crossword puzzles. Survivors include her daughters, Deb Whitaker (Gregg Lillemon) of Hamilton, Indiana, Denise Slentz (Calvin Clark) of Bronson, Michigan, and Patty Oberhaus of Swanton, Ohio, nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, brothers, Sonny Williams and Keith (Patty) Williams, both of Toledo, Ohio, sisters, Sally Norman of Toledo, Ohio, and Carol (Farley) Summer, a sister-in-law, Marjean Williams of Toledo, Ohio, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a son, Dale John Watkins, a daughter,Sandra Kay Czneriak, a great-granddaughter, Sarah Wilcox, brothers, Bradley Williams, Ronald Williams, and Robert Williams, and sisters-in-law, Judy Williams and JoAnn Williams. Visitation will be held from 4 pm until 7 pm Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana. Memorial donations may be directed in care of the family.
