Randy Frank Ringler

Randy F. Ringler, age 50, of Eugene, Oregon, passed away of natural causes, while working construction, in Eugene, Oregon, on March 8, 2013. Mr. Ringler formerly lived in Angola and LaGrange County, Indiana. Mr. Ringler was born the son of Wayne and Bonnie (Halferty) Ringler. His mother, Bonnie Ringler, preceded him in death, and he is survived by his father and stepmother, Wayne and Judy Ringler of Fremont, Indiana. Mr. Ringler grew up near Ontario, in LaGrange County, Indiana, and then later attended Angola schools. He enlisted into the United States Marine Corps. After serving our country, he returned, and became engaged in construction. He worked in several different states prior to moving to Oregon, he had lived in Florida, Alaska, and Washington state, and then later moved to Oregon, where he lived at Eugene, Oregon. He worked in construction and he did concrete work, laying stone, as a stone mason, and also became a finish carpenter. He currently was working in construction for the Kennedy Construction Company at Eugene, Oregon. His hobbies included being outdoors, hunting, and enjoyed hunting for Elk, and enjoyed bow hunting also. He was very dedicated to his children, and they were very special in his life. Also surviving are a daughter, Rachel Ringler of Eugene, Ore.; a son, Wayne Ringler of Eugene, Ore.; a brother, Mike Ringler of Coldwater, Mich.; two sisters, Rebah Carrick of Rotunda West, Fla. and Linda Baker of Helmer, Ind.; a stepsister, Dee Sattison of Coatesville, Ind.; three stepbrothers, Mike Golliff of Angola, Ind., Bruce Golliff of Michigan City, Ind., and Paul Golliff of Auburn, Ind.; and a good friend, Marty Edwards of Eugene, Ore. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles “Chuck” Ringler. There is no visitation. Private family graveside services will be held at Brushy Chapel Cemetery in LaGrange County, Indiana.
