He was born on June 7, 1957 in Toledo, Ohio.
Survivors include his wife, Nicola Goetz, sister, Linda Goetz Powell and a brother, Arthur Goetz, both of West Unity, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Margaret Goetz and many brothers and sisters.
Private family services will be held at a later time.
