

He was born on July 10, 1948, in Coldwater, Michigan, the son of Victor Lee and Nina Louise (Whitcomb) Fulton, they preceded him in death.
Roger graduated from Fremont High School in 1967, and attended Tri-State College in Angola, Indiana, also he attended a Trade School in Louisville, Kentucky.
He married Linda Mortorff on June 7, 1969 at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Pleasant Lake, Indiana.
Roger was the co-owner of Fulton’s Union 76 Gas Station in Fremont for 15 years. He later served as service manager for several car dealerships in the Angola, and Coldwater Area. He retired from Curly’s Auto Service, Sturgis, Michigan.
He was a longtime member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Pleasant Lake, Indiana, and also served on the Outreach Committee, Luke 3:11 Coat Bank. He also formerly served the Fremont Community, as a member and Fire Chief of the Fremont Fire Department. He served our Country in the US Air Force from 1968 until 1972, and was a member of the Fremont American Legion Cassel Post # 257. He was also a member of the Fremont Moose Lodge, and formerly served there as the manager.
Roger enjoyed following I.U. Basketball, taking trips to Florida, and was extremely good at working on computers. He loved his family and grandchildren, and his dog Max, having cookouts, and spending time around his pool, which he was very proud of.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Fulton of Fremont, Indiana, daughter, Nichole Fulton of Fort Wayne, Indiana, son, Michael Fulton, grandchildren, Jaylen and Jayden Barnfield, and Payton and Gracie Fulton, a sister, Denise (Chuck) Newbauer of Fremont, Indiana, a brother, Dennis (Lori) Fulton of Fremont, Indiana, a sister-in-law, Judy (Dr. R. Wyatt) Weaver of Angola, Indiana, a brother-in-law, Keith “Shorty” Mortorff of Angola, Indiana, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 2-5 pm Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Monday, December 4, 2017, at Beams Funeral Home, with Pastor Tamra Gerber officiating.
Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery, Fremont, Indiana, with Military Committal Services conducted by members of the Fremont American Legion Post # 257 Colorguard.
Memorials are requested in his memory to the Fremont American Legion Cassel Post # 257, or to the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
