Doreen (as we called her) was my very loving Aunt, sister to my father, Bill Covert, (second from the left in the photo below) and sibling to 12 other brothers and sisters with Grandma Covert in the middle. (Doreen is the beauty on the far right) Although she lived far away from our California home, I remember all the times we were able to get together for a great big family affair. Aunt Doreen was always there with a smile, a great big hug and an inviting lap to sit in while she kissed all your boo-boos or problems away. My heart breaks at her passing but I hope she is at peace and enjoying reuniting with all her wonderful family that passed before her. Love you always Aunt Doreen! Forever yours, Glenda Ward
