Ruth Ann (Wells) Quick 86, Fremont, passed peacefully on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at Parkview Dekalb Hospital in Auburn surrounded by family. She was born in Vestaburg, Michigan to Edson and Eathel (Pocock)Wells on August 1, 1938.
She attended Orland school and worked at various jobs and retired from Eaton Corporation in Auburn.
She married David Quick on May 14, 1955, at the Methodist Church in Orland. He preceded her in death after more than 50 years of marriage. Ruth was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many.
Surviving are six children and their spouses, Randy and Kathy Quick, Corunna, Jan and Rob Wilson, Angola, Kim and Tammy Quick, Clear Lake, Fremont, Joel and Mary Quick, Groveland, Florida, Marty and Linda Quick, Angola and Kandi and Daral Ratliff, Ashley. 18 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, brother-in-law, Wayne Quick of Howe, Indiana and sister-in-law, Marie Quick of Avon Park, Florida.
Also preceding her in death were her parents, Edson and Eathel Wells, sister, Wava Ricks, brother, Donald Claflin, sister, Donna Ohning and brother, Lewis Wells.
Private Family services will be held at a later date at Greenlawn Cemetery, Orland. Arrangements by Beams Funeral Home, Fremont.
