Sharon Marie Carpenter

Sharon Marie Carpenter, age 73, of Bronson, Michigan, passed away at her home on Saturday, March 16, 2019.
Sharon was born on November 5, 1945 in Coldwater, Michigan to Burr and Erma (Swift) Howland, they preceded her in death.
She graduated from Coldwater High School.
Sharon married Jerry Dean Carpenter on November 14, 1964. They were married for 54 years.
Sharon enjoyed and loved people, no one was a stranger to her. She had a lot of energy, and liked to stay busy. Sharon did farm work, enjoyed bailing hay, gardening, and going to auctions. She loved her grandchildren and family. Sharon often had a produce stand at her home, she was a longtime 4-H Leader, and was a little league softball coach. Sharon also served on the board of Canvassers in Branch County, Michigan.
Survivors include her husband Jerry Dean Carpenter of Bronson, Michigan, a daughter, Melissa Carpenter of Coldwater, Michigan, grandchildren, a sister, Wanda Kosmerick of Coldwater, Michigan, and many nieces and nephews.
Sharon was also preceded in death by sisters, Wilma Carr, and Irene Gest.
A Celebration of her Life will be held from 11 am until 1 pm Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Bethel Gilead Community Church, 876 Block Road, Bronson, Michigan 49028.
Funeral Services will follow at 1 pm Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Bethel Gilead Community Church, with Rev. Jim Erwin officiating.
Burial will be at East Gilead Cemetery, Gilead Township, Branch County, Michigan.
Memorial donations in Sharon’s memory may be directed to the Branch County Humane Society or to the Bronson Fire Department.
