Stephen Joe Harrington

Mr. Harrington formerly worked as a supervisor and attendant at the Mobil gas station on the Indiana Toll Road. Also he formerly was a manager and maintenance worker for an apartment complex, and was a disc jockey.

He was a member of El Bethel Pentecostal Church in Hillsdale, Mich.

Stephen enjoyed music, he loved his family and grandbabies, his church, and movies.

He was born Nov. 11, 1956, in Sturgis, Mich., to William and Phyllis Ilene (Ray) Harrington. He married Sheryl Lynn Small on Oct. 10, 1987, at Coldwater, Mich., and she survives in Pioneer.

Also surviving are a daughter, Amber and Chris Ellert of Angola; three sons, Scott and Heather Royer of Coldwater, Mich., Ben Harrington of Jackson, Mich., and Brandon & Cassie Harrington of Orange, Texas; five grandchildren; a sister, Joy and Joe Grosz of Elmira, N.Y.; and five brothers, William and Vickie Harrington of Hillsdale, Mich., Robert and Deb Harrington of Montgomery, Mich., Barry and Beverly Harrington of Angola, Kenneth and Janice Harrington of Frontier, Mich., and Alvin and Sherri Harrington of Fremont.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Stephen Harrington; a granddaughter, Brandilynn Curtis; three sisters,

Mary Lou Harrington, Martha Sue Harrington and Annabelle Harrington; and a brother, Tracy Harrington.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Monday, August 19, 2013, at Beams Funeral Home in Fremont.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, August 19, 2013, at Beams Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Spriggs officiating. Burial will be in Covenanter Cemetery at Fremont.
