Stephen "Steve" Rothermel

He was born on January 30, 1963 in Wabash, Indiana to the late Fred and Maxine (Blume) Rothermel.

He graduated from Wabash High School and attended Owens Community College, Perrysburg, Ohio.

Steve currently worked as a product engineer at D & W Fine Pack, Fort Wayne, Indiana and formerly worked for LureCraft in Orland, Indiana.

Steve was extremely passionate about music and dedicated most of his time working on stereo and loudspeaker equipment. His greatest accomplishment was his company Rothakoustic which produced world class loudspeakers for high end stereo systems. Music was his main hobby, but he loved his children and grandchildren very much, he enjoyed traveling with his son and making others laugh out loud.

Survivors include his daughter, Hannah (Todd) Hein of New Carlisle, Indiana, son, Samuel Rothermel of Maumee, Ohio, grandchildren, Caiden, Harlow and Mila, sisters, Lauren (Dave) Dale, Nancy New and Monica (Rick) Grimm, all of Wabash, Indiana, brothers, Jeff (Donna) Rothermel of Huntsville, Alabama and Rob (Kelly) Rothermel of Michigan City, Indiana.

Visitation will be held from 12 pm until 2 pm Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana.

Memorial Services will follow at 2 pm Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana.

Burial will be held in Wabash, Indiana at a later time.
