He was born on May 9, 1961 in Worcester, Massachusetts to the late Richard and Rita (Dion) Smith.
Steve was a loving man and was loved and cherished by his family.
Survivors include his wife, Christy Higbee of Angola, Indiana, children, Kristy Nagle, Sarah Hamilton, MIke Hamilton and Colton HIgbee, several grandchildren, a sister, Cathy, brothers, Bobby Smith and David Smith, a niece, April Smith, and a nephew, Ronnie Smith.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Smith.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later time.
