She was born on October 12, 1956 in Paulding, Ohio to the late Alfred Franklin and Helen Mae (Jackson) Sherer.
Tammy was a woman of deep faith, boundless compassion, and an adventurous spirit. A devoted caregiver at heart, she spent her life nurturing and supporting others with unmatched warmth and grace. She also loved to travel, finding joy and wonder in exploring new places and making memories along the way.
Survivors include her sons, Josh (Michelle) Hausbach of Angola, Indiana and James (Leigh) Hausbach of Hyrum, Utah. Grandchildren Zach, Shelby, Emma (Ken), Danica (Josh) and Hayden (Aari), Great grandchildren Boone, Sawyer, Kallie, Oakley and Kooper, brothers, Frank (Judy) Sherer of Indianapolis, Indiana and Jerry (Debbie) Sherer of Rathdrum, Idaho, and sisters, Linda (Marty) Quick of Angola, Indiana and Vicky (Keith) Johnson of Cadillac, Michigan.
Visitation will be held from 4 pm until 5 pm Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana.
A Memorial Service will follow at 5 pm Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Tammy to the Allen County Public Library. Tammy was an avid reader and longtime library card holder. Contributions can be made at acpl.lib.in.us
