Virginia Rose Parsons

She was born June 8, 1932, Hillsdale, Mich., to Arthur and Eva (Champion) Keith. They preceded her in death. She married Donald Dean Parsons on March 19, 1949, in Angola; he preceded her in death on Jan. 16, 2002.

She retired from Angola Die Cast, and also formerly worked at Rodgers Wreath in Angola, and worked at the Corner Pocket in Fremont.

She attended the Collins School. She enjoyed her family and grandchildren, she enjoyed cooking and having a flower garden.

Surviving are two sons, Rickey Parsons of Fremont and Kim and Connie Parsons of Fremont; two daughters, Brenda Morse of Fremont and Becky Cope of Fremont; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one son: Greg G. Parsons on Dec. 4, 2008; two sisters, Vanessa Parsons and Doris Pettit; and two brothers, Clarence & Elmer Keith

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday March 21, 2012, at the funeral home with the Rev. Jon Bruney officiating. Burial will be in Fremont Cemetery, Fremont.
