

He was born Nov. 27, 1930, in Fremont to Brock & Althea (Heller) McNaughton.
He married Carol Ann Girrell on Jan. 1, 1952, at the Fremont United Methodist Church, and she survives.
He was the manager of Sabin Acres Trailer Park, Fremont, and was a retired tool and die maker.
He was a Fremont High School graduate. He was a United States Marine Corps Korean War Veteran, was an expert marksman and was a bronze star recipient. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and crafts, watching golf, auto racing, football, basketball and spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving are his wife, Carol Ann McNaughton of Fremont; a daughter, Denice Moe Curry of Angola; three Sons, Steven Brock McNaughton of Fremont, Tim Alvin McNaughton of Indiana and Douglas John McNaughton of Indianapolis; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Janice and Jerry Crawford of Fremont, Jane Box of Hawthorne, Fla., and Darlene Collins of Sarasota, Fa.; and two brothers, Jim and Kay Knauss of Mesa, Ariz., and Bill and Mary Knauss of Reading, Mich.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepfather Owen Knauss, a son-in-law, Steven Curry.
Funeral services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, with Pastor Ken Walker officiating. Military committal services will be conducted by members of the Fremont American Legion Cassel Post 257. Burial will be at a later date.
Calling will be Monday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to the family.
